A Painter's Camera
In August 2022, I started a project based upon John Piper's book of photographs, A Painter's Camera. My aim is to collage on to each photograph in the book.
colourful people
Using a 1971 coffee table book of photographs called "Colourful England", I am extracting the grainy images of people who are largely incidental to the subject of the photographs. Click the image to see each work in this series.

This 2022 series was made for the KART assembling publication compiled by Australian artist David Dellafiora. It consists of 40 6 inch x 4 inch monoprints with collage elements. Click the image to see a selection of work from this series.
one by one
In this project I am exploring close-up details of collage - texture, torn edges and the individual elements. Each piece in this gallery is a 1 inch square extract from a larger work. Click the image to see more work in this project.
Attic Zine No. 18
In 2021, I made 20 13.5x20cm collages for inclusion in the Attic Zine No. 18 Blue and Orange circulating zine project. Each piece is unique and incorporates at least one blue element. Click the image to see each work in this series.
vanishing point
This 2022 series was made for the Baker's Half Dozen collage exchange run by US artist Cecil Touchon. It consists of seven 6 inch x 4 inch monochrome collages made from recycled monoprints and mixed media collages. Click the image to see each work in this series.
